About the position

The Research and Learning Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing research and learning projects within the Parents As Teachers program. This position focuses on managing data collection, reporting, and analysis, as well as supporting quality improvement initiatives. The manager will coordinate evaluation projects, collaborate with research organizations, and enhance data dissemination processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day project activities of assigned evaluation projects, including project management, communication, documentation, and meeting coordination.
  • Leading learning community sessions with key community partners and documenting discussions to develop processes and tools for the network.
  • Designing, developing, and conducting focus groups, surveys, and interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, fact sheets, and other dissemination products.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in social work, health, psychology, or education required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, program evaluation/research design, and data collection and analysis.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and management of large data sets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Coursework in statistical analysis.
  • Experience with survey development.
