About the position

The Manager of Respiratory Support at Baptist Memorial Health is responsible for overseeing the respiratory therapy department at the Yazoo Critical Access Hospital. Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department.
• Manage and supervise respiratory therapy staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in budgeting and financial management for the department.
• Facilitate continuing education and training for staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in a critical access hospital setting.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
