About the position

The Manager Retail Branch II at BECU is responsible for leading and managing the overall performance of the branch, ensuring that sales and service goals are met while delivering exceptional member experiences. This role involves coaching and mentoring team members, fostering a service-oriented culture, and driving growth in membership and services within the community. The position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve key sales and member experience goals by ensuring accountability among team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to develop employee performance and assist in career planning.
  • Manage branch service level adherence, analyze reports, and support brand awareness initiatives.
  • Set sales and service excellence expectations, assist in managing the branch budget, and ensure expenses remain within approved levels.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, members, and business partners while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Partner with Recruiting to hire top talent to meet staffing needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum three years of leadership experience.
  • Minimum four years of experience in a sales, retail, or banking environment.
  • Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, requiring annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
