About the position

The Manager for Retail Sales Associate Customer Service position in the pawn industry involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires a motivated individual who is passionate about the pawn industry and is looking for long-term employment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers in person by pawning, buying, and selling merchandise.
  • Negotiate and process new loans, purchases, and sales after training.
  • Manage the staff and ensure effective teamwork.
  • Merchandise the store and maintain cleanliness of merchandise.
  • Clean, test, and photograph items for sale, including light photo editing.
  • Assist in keeping the inside and outside of the stores clean.
  • Answer phones and assist customers with various questions.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a pawn shop (preferred).
  • 2 years of management experience (required).
  • 3 years of retail sales experience (preferred).
  • 3 years of customer service experience (required).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Computer literate with basic math skills.
  • Outgoing personality and a fast learner.
  • Ability to work well with others and manage a team.
  • Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish (not required).
