About the position

The Manager, Retail Marketing at Disney Consumer Products is responsible for the ideation, implementation, and execution of marketing programs specifically for the Walmart US and Sam's Club accounts. This role focuses on driving retail marketing initiatives across various channels to achieve key organizational objectives such as market share, revenue, and brand awareness. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective campaign execution and continuous improvement in marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and drive retail marketing programs across digital, social, and physical channels.
  • Guide the tactical execution of marketing programs based on retailers' strengths and needs.
  • Implement an end-to-end process for influencer and social campaigns.
  • Complete campaign activities within agreed timeframes and quality levels.
  • Provide insights on historical campaign performance to influence future strategies.
  • Solicit cost estimates for marketing elements to ensure quality guidelines are met.
  • Write and submit retail creative briefs for retailer programs.
  • Establish strong working relationships with retailer marketing and visual merchandising managers.
  • Advise on and partner with internal teams to improve processes and find opportunities.
  • Manage media P&P budget across retailer marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate account activities and concerns to the Senior Manager, Retail Marketing.
  • Coordinate retail marketing program recaps for necessary leaders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Retail Marketing experience and industry knowledge.
  • 2+ years of agency experience desirable.
  • 3+ years of Walmart/Sam's Club and/or Disney experience desirable.
  • Experience in operationalizing processes and optimizing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style.
  • Time management and organization skills for planning marketing projects.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team members and manage conflicts.
  • Mac & Keynote proficiency is a requirement.
  • Working knowledge of basic Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
