About the position

The Manager of the Retail Photography Studio at Apple will oversee the daily operations of the studio, ensuring the delivery of high-quality photography outputs for Apple Retail and other cross-functional partners. This role involves collaborating with creative teams and managing production processes to meet project timelines and budgets while fulfilling creative needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Retail Photography Studio.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to execute photography initiatives.
• Oversee all pre-production activities including creative brief development, project timelines, and vendor hiring.
• Lead studio shoots and manage production vendors for both in-studio and off-site shoots.
• Ensure projects run efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Supervise workflow planning and manage related staff and freelancers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of senior-level production experience in a professional photography environment.
• Minimum of 5 years managing a team as a creative producer.
• Experience in product, accessory, and/or lifestyle photography.
• Proficient in CaptureOne, Photoshop, Mac OS, iOS, and Color Management/Workflow.
• Strong skills in fiscal planning and budget management for studio operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in creative agency, social/PR content, or photography production studio.
• Adept at people management and team development.
• Experience in managing production schedules and budgets collaboratively.
