About the position

The Manager, Revenue Cycle Systems at Ardent Health Services is responsible for overseeing the application team that supports and optimizes the Resolute Hospital Billing and Hospital Billing Claims IT applications. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with various leadership teams, and ensuring the effective implementation and support of application projects. The manager will also handle performance evaluations, workload management, and assist in budget planning while participating in after-hours support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and coordination for the application team members.
  • Manage the support, design, instruction, and optimization of Resolute Hospital Billing applications.
  • Develop and monitor the development roadmap for assigned applications.
  • Evaluate current processes and identify gaps to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and make merit and promotion decisions for team members.
  • Define work assignments and manage workload for the team.
  • Enforce project deadlines and manage resources according to project schedules.
  • Provide ongoing analysis, maintenance, and support for systems across the organization.
  • Assist with departmental budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Participate in after-hours support and onsite assistance during go-live or upgrade activations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing Administration or Claims Administration is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT applications support for Resolute Hospital Billing or Claims.
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting IT applications.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects with teams of 5 or more members.
  • Proficiency in developing project management items such as work breakdown structures and stakeholder communications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information technology management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Service Now is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and supporting healthcare or business systems and integration with third-party applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with workflow and operations within a hospital or health system.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to the business area.
