About the position

The Manager of Risk Management at ADP is responsible for developing strategic goals, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and meets quality standards. This role involves leading human resource management activities, establishing performance goals, and providing mentorship and development for team members. The manager will also handle escalated issues, evaluate direct reports, and collaborate with other business units to drive performance and achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate strategic goals.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Implement initiatives and processes to ensure timely completion of work with quality standards.
  • Serve as a resource for team members based on knowledge of responsibilities and goals.
  • Lead human resource management activities including staffing, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Establish individual performance goals and communicate them through meetings and reviews.
  • Provide periodic performance feedback and conduct annual reviews.
  • Develop leaders for succession planning.
  • Manage escalated issues and provide direction.
  • Evaluate direct reports and complete performance appraisals.
  • Collaborate with direct reports to establish Individual Development Plans.
  • Develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans.
  • Make critical decisions on hiring and terminations.
  • Function as a consultant and business partner to other organizations within ADP.
  • Monitor productivity and performance standards during critical periods.
  • Serve as backup to other leaders and provide guidance in their absence.
  • Participate in task forces and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of call center experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment focused on achieving results.
  • Ability to manage a team and develop leaders.
  • Ability to assess team members' performance and provide motivational support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong client relationship building skills.
  • Ability to recognize procedural issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and various operating systems.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.
  • CPP or FPC certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADP HR, Payroll, and Benefits policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 8 years of call center management experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience desirable.
  • College degree a plus but not required.
  • Prior leadership training.
