About the position

The Manager, Risk Management at Omnicell is responsible for overseeing the company's insurance and risk management programs. This role involves engaging with insurers, brokers, and key business leaders to identify and manage risks that exceed traditional insurable risks. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, and it is primarily remote with a preference for candidates near Cranberry Township, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's risk management and insurance program development.
  • Develop program strategy and structure, managing domestic and global insurance programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on risk-related issues.
  • Evaluate and manage risk-related matters, including certificates of insurance and insurance coverage inquiries.
  • Support negotiation of insurance and risk-related contractual issues.
  • Lead the Enterprise Risk Management process, developing mitigation plans and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Implement and lead the global Risk Committee, integrating risk processes across the company.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and new analytical opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage company claims, developing strategies for timely resolutions.
  • Assist in preparing executive and board of director presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in insurance underwriting, risk management, enterprise risk management, or insurance brokerage.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in large data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management tools and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPCU, ARM, CRM, or RIMS-CRMP designation
  • Experience in contract review and negotiation
  • Experience leading enterprise risk management programs
  • Experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry
