About the position

The SaaS Technologies Manager at the National Hockey League (NHL) is responsible for overseeing corporate SaaS applications, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. This role involves supporting the service desk in resolving application issues, collaborating with IT professionals to deploy applications, and maintaining compliance with cloud application governance. The manager will work closely with senior leadership to enhance the use of SaaS technologies across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the support and administration of Enterprise-wide business intelligence applications such as Tableau.
• Design, engineer, and implement SaaS technology solutions utilizing Office 365, Box, Zoom, and other SaaS applications.
• Monitor, maintain, and administrate complex mail flow and mail routing services.
• Configure and automate SaaS systems to provision and deprovision accounts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SaaS application incidents.
• Consult with business leaders to develop and implement SaaS solutions to meet business needs.
• Update, prepare, and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Monitor, maintain, and administrate security measures for the protection of cloud systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SaaS application management experience with a proven track record of working with high performing, virtual, multi-site teams.
• 3+ years' experience managing Tableau and Office 365.
• Deep understanding of core Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies and services.
• Experience successfully managing other SaaS applications, e.g., Box.com, Zoom, and Slack.
• Exceptional analytical ability and logical problem resolution skills.
• Technical documentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of PowerShell and Exchange.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting complex messaging and mail routing scenarios.
• Understanding of Active Directory and SSO IDP integrations.
• Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies such as WAN, VPN, and DNS.
