About the position

As a Sales and Operations Manager at RXO, you will lead a sales team in the transportation solutions sector, focusing on generating new sales revenue and enhancing operational efficiency. This role involves mentoring team members, collaborating across departments, and driving revenue and margin growth through strategic sales initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Mentor and lead a team of inside salespeople, providing industry expertise and support.
  • Interview and train new employees, conduct performance reviews, and establish performance goals.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations, reviewing pricing, market penetration, and service KPIs.
  • Drive revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals and modes, developing best business practices.
  • Develop sales pipelines and strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Review sales activity KPIs, including revenue, margin, load count, call logs, and CRM adherence.
  • Review customer metrics in real time and assist with submitting timely customer bid packages and RFPs.

Requirements

  • 4 years of transportation-related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • 2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience (preferred).
  • Experience in management and leadership, including conflict resolution.
  • Strong strategic thinking and sales driving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
