About the position

As a Manager Sales - Cosmetics at Bloomingdale's, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive sales in the cosmetics department. Your leadership will be key in achieving the store's mission to be like no other store in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Observe, coach, and role model customer-centric selling behaviors at all times.
  • Champion the use of selling technology to support a seamless customer experience.
  • Lead and educate relationship selling, building a client book, and driving outreach to maximize business.
  • Support total store priorities and establish yourself as an available and engaged leader.
  • Lead and execute merchandising, partnering with Visual Merchandise Manager/Merchandise Manager.
  • Ensure all necessary re-stocking, floor moves, and signing are completed.
  • Provide daily oversight of fulfillment process and track metrics to ensure optimum fill rate.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 3-5 years of direct experience required.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute strategies effectively.
  • Ability to monitor and maneuver workflow to achieve priorities.
  • Flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, and climb ladders.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
