About the position

This position is responsible for generating leads and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers in the healthcare sector through tele-virtual means. The role involves supporting various promotional strategies, including direct sales and brand awareness, while collaborating with the Field Sales Team to achieve sales quotas in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales Team to develop and implement territory business plans.
  • Identify focus areas for driving sales through partnership with Omnichannel Marketing and Analytics team.
  • Build sustainable business relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital staff.
  • Perform proactive outbound sales activities such as lead generation and customer follow-up.
  • Prospect relentlessly to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Meet and exceed activity expectations set by the Sales Development Manager.
  • Develop a sound understanding of the Olympus Medical Systems Group product portfolio.
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers and sales leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have a degree in a healthcare or business-related field.
  • Ability to consider future relocation opportunities for growth into outside field sales.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with remote technology (call centers, VOIP) preferred.
  • Must excel in managing customer relationships.
  • Must excel in lead generation and solution selling.
