About the position

The Manager of Sales Enablement at Disney Advertising is responsible for driving growth and transformation in sales automation, focusing on programmatic and automation solutions. This role involves gathering business intelligence, translating business needs into technical requirements, and collaborating with various teams to enhance sales processes. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Capture business needs and requests from internal sales stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on programmatic and automation technical systems.
  • Serve as the primary business liaison with third-party vendors for automation services.
  • Collaborate with ad platform technology teams to prioritize sales needs and roadmaps.
  • Keep up to date with emerging industry partners and advise on implementation.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements for ad technology and product teams.
  • Manage complex multi-departmental executions and communicate project timelines to sales leadership.
  • Post-launch communication and support for product marketing and training materials.
  • Provide insights and knowledge to inform internal stakeholders about programmatic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, programmatic operations, digital product management, or related fields.
  • Advanced technical understanding of programmatic ad technology.
  • Marketplace knowledge of programmatic vendors and trends.
  • Proven ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Highly skilled in Excel for data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira).
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
  • Fluent in both business and technology communication styles.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in remote collaboration tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Programmatic operations experience with hands-on trafficking and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Google's programmatic platforms (GAM, AdX, DV360).
  • Experience with digital ad servers and sales management systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standard measurement providers (Nielsen, MOAT).
  • Proficient in media math and data platforms.
  • Knowledge of IAB standards and guidelines.
