About the position

The Manager, Sales Enablement at American Equity is responsible for driving sales excellence by delivering key reporting metrics and data-driven insights. This role involves developing tools such as dashboards and analytics to support the go-to-market strategy and improve the effectiveness of the sales team when engaging with financial professionals and partner firms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team responsible for data management, interpretation, and analysis for Business Heads.
  • Execute complex data-related analytical projects that drive business decisions and efficiencies.
  • Identify trends or anomalies in sales data.
  • Design and implement metrics, scorecards, and reporting to enhance business impact.
  • Oversee CRM configuration and management.
  • Develop sales and management dashboards in collaboration with Heads of Sales and National Accounts.
  • Create propensity and next best action modeling to optimize sales efforts.
  • Manage sales compensation platform and collaborate with HR for compensation processing.
  • Analyze firm trends and sales effectiveness for National Accounts.
  • Train wholesalers and bank/broker dealer contacts on financial planning tools.
  • Develop training for sales teams on products, CRM, and reporting systems.
  • Generate data and reports for various internal departments.
  • Maintain reports on cost-of-sales and ROI for partner firms.
  • Develop written procedures for Sales Enablement processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, business analytics, or related field.
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis supporting marketing or sales functions.
  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel and CRMs such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills to execute complex data analysis and modeling projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
