About the position

The Manager of Sales Operations for America will lead efforts to enhance the customer experience to a world-class level while managing and directing sales operations, order fulfillment, and program activities. This role is pivotal in providing operational support to regional sales managers and account managers, ensuring effective communication and timely product deliveries to maximize revenue. The manager will also be responsible for resolving escalated customer complaints and implementing processes to improve customer profitability through operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to evolve the customer experience to a world-class level.
  • Manage, direct, and drive Sales Operations, Order Fulfillment, RMA processing, and program activities.
  • Provide operational support to regional sales managers and account managers.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints regarding services and procedures.
  • Identify and implement processes to increase customer profitability with improved operational execution.
  • Develop and execute training programs for new hires and continuous training for existing team members.
  • Ensure orders, shipments, and deliveries meet customer requirements and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Accounting on revenue recognition and accounts receivable management.
  • Maintain data integrity of Point of Sale data in the ERP system.
  • Perform sales analytics and performance measurement reporting against key performance indicators.
  • Implement changes for continual process improvements in ERP Administration.
  • Work closely with senior sales leadership to define performance measurements and management programs.
  • Align reporting, training, and operational metrics with performance management priorities.
  • Provide leadership to assure alignment, teamwork, and transparency across departments.
  • Utilize Collaborative Planning with customers for revenue predictability.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.
  • Drive direct customers to implement EDI order and RMA processing.
  • Create and implement regular scorecard review processes with key customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales operations, supply chain management, order management, and team management.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience with Sales Order module, preferably Oracle.
  • Extensive experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated success in sales operations or sales management, including strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Strong project management and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with consumer electronics channels.
  • Understanding of product life cycle management.
  • Experience implementing OM ERP Systems focused on fulfillment and backlog management.
