About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) is a key role focused on enhancing efficiency and driving process improvements within the sales organization. This position involves overseeing sales processes, data analysis, forecasting, and CRM management, while supporting the sales team to achieve their targets. The manager will collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and other stakeholders to optimize sales performance and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize the CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) for accurate data and efficient use by the sales team.
  • Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to implement sales tools and technologies that enhance productivity.
  • Train the sales team on CRM and technology tools for effective usage.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute the sales strategy.
  • Support annual sales planning, quota setting, and territory management processes.
  • Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and finance to support strategic initiatives.
  • Support the development and management of incentive programs to drive sales performance.
  • Evaluate and track sales performance against goals and provide insights for improvement.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new sales team members on processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and other departments such as marketing, finance, and customer success.
  • Work with marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation, qualification, and nurturing processes.
  • Partner with finance to support sales forecasting, budgeting, and compensation.
  • Participate in and support company COS initiatives, focusing on developing a lean mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
  • Five plus years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a management or lead role.
  • Proven expertise in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.
