About the position

The Manager, Sales Operations at Firefly Health is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth through effective sales operations. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position involves collaboration across sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure operational excellence and alignment with the company's commercial strategy. The role includes managing the Salesforce CRM, developing sales resources, leading the RFP process, and providing insights through KPI reporting to enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a tactical plan for the commercial operations function aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • Manage the deal desk and deal exceptions process.
  • Maintain the Salesforce CRM instance and assist with training sales representatives on standard operating procedures.
  • Create standardized and ad hoc reports to provide insights into KPI trends and support forecasting and planning.
  • Work cross-functionally to respond to inbound RFIs and RFPs, and support the Sales team with client proposals.
  • Oversee field effectiveness and enablement operations, including territory planning and sales training.
  • Assist in planning and executing lead generation events and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience operating within Salesforce.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills to quantify growth.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and work in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a growth-stage environment and understanding of scaling operations.
  • Experience working at a health plan or within the employee benefits space.
  • Previous ownership of a sales quota.
