As the Sales Operations leader, you will manage activities for a designated set of product lines, which includes contract negotiation, quote creation, business analysis, and margin management. A significant aspect of this role involves overseeing price decisions to enhance product margin contributions and drive business growth. Given the fast-paced nature of the semiconductor industry, the candidate must be self-motivated and possess an analytical mindset to thrive in a dynamic business environment. This includes implementing necessary changes in processes, policies, strategies, or objectives, demonstrating resilience and the ability to influence matrixed teams. The Sales Operations Manager will serve as a vital link between sales, product marketing, operations, and supply chain teams, ensuring that key customer accounts are prioritized and served effectively. The role requires troubleshooting and resolving major points of dissatisfaction or conflicts, including financial, operational, and supply chain issues. The candidate will also lead sales operations for an assigned product portfolio, support quoting activities, execute annual price negotiations, and manage allocations and discontinuation processes as necessary. Close collaboration with stakeholders such as Demand Management, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Business Owners of HPC product portfolios is essential to ensure forecasts are supported and operational processes are efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Be the link between sales, product marketing, operations and supply chain teams to ensure key customer accounts are served with priority.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve major points of dissatisfaction or conflicts including financial, operational, supply chain and other customer or channel issues.
  • Lead Sales Operations for an assigned product portfolio including support all quoting activity & deal making.
  • Review, plan & execute annual price negotiations with Tier 1 customers.
  • Provide first line of support on commercial & operational inquiries for the regional sales and marketing teams.
  • Manage product pricing controls, quotation support and annual account-based pricing negotiations.
  • Manage allocations and discontinuation processes for the portfolio as necessary.
  • Close collaboration with main stakeholders such as Demand Management, Sales, Finance, Operations and Business Owners of HPC product portfolios.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure forecasts are supported and provide support on the E&O and SIOP processes to operations.
  • Manage annual pricing agreements and contracts including ownership for negotiating and redlining business terms and conditions for key customer contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or MS in Business or Engineering required (Electrical/Computer Science/Computer Engineering).
  • 8+ years in a leading role such as sales operations, distribution, sales technology, finance, analytics or business planning role, preferably within Semiconductor or a technology industry.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly and problem solve effectively.
  • Excellent communicator who is organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and creative.
  • Ability to negotiate, coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams of technical, sales, commercial and operations teams.
  • Self-starter with great instincts and the ability to lead and influence others.
  • Ability to build relationships with key decision makers and work in a high-performance team environment.
