About the position

As the Manager of Sales Operations at Invenergy, you will lead a team that supports all origination and sales activities across various energy technologies, including onshore wind, solar, and storage. This role involves developing customer strategies, managing RFP responses, and leveraging technology to enhance customer engagement and proposal accuracy. You will work closely with internal teams and report to the Director of Sales Operations, making this position ideal for an ambitious leader with a strong background in the energy market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team supporting origination and sales activities across various energy technologies.
  • Create customer and market strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Develop targeted marketing and sales collateral to drive new business.
  • Understand customer needs through market intelligence and Integrated Resource Plans (IRPs).
  • Summarize customer needs and synthesize strategies for sales.
  • Review and summarize customer RFPs to develop response strategies.
  • Execute comprehensive responses to customer RFPs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Manage operations and logistics related to sales, including pricing processes.
  • Provide tools and guidance to Associates and Analysts for proposals and market research.
  • Utilize technology, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and PowerBI, to manage customer opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the energy sector
  • Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales, business development, and/or consulting role
  • MBA or similar advanced degree
  • Market research experience
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Renewable energy project development experience
  • Renewable energy project management or construction experience
