About the position

The Manager of Sales Operations at Veloxis Pharmaceuticals is a pivotal role that focuses on strategy and analytics for the company's transplant product line. This position is responsible for reporting and presenting product performance metrics and integrated insights to the company's leadership team. The incumbent will proactively identify areas of opportunity by utilizing various data sources, including SP, SD, and CRM data, to enhance the company's commercial operations. The role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with the brand team to develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the brand strategy and tactics. In this role, the manager will oversee the development and maintenance of KPI reports for the sales leadership team, ensuring that the insights provided are actionable and relevant. The position involves presenting weekly brand performance updates to the VP of Sales, Regional Sales Directors, and the sales leadership team, integrating insights from multiple data sources to drive decision-making. The manager will also be responsible for driving promotional effectiveness by measuring call activity and resource utilization, thereby improving the impact of promotional efforts across the business. Additionally, the role includes performing ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities and threats in the market, leveraging metrics related to marketing tactics, sales execution, and customer adoption. The manager will collaborate with the analytics lead to provide performance insights and will liaise with external vendors to produce sales force effectiveness reports. Creating dashboards to synthesize information for business decisions and coordinating with data management to ensure high-quality insights are also key responsibilities. The manager will work with the Incentive Compensation team to support sales contest initiatives and strategize with field deployment to adjust the sales model based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and measure KPIs associated with brand strategy and tactics in collaboration with the brand team.

  • Perform ad hoc national and sub-national analyses to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with the analytics lead on performance insights and deep dives.
  • Liaise with external vendors for sub-national sales force effectiveness reports.
  • Create dashboards to synthesize information for business decisions.
  • Coordinate with data management to ensure insights are based on reliable, high-quality information.
  • Collaborate with the Incentive Compensation team on sales contest initiatives.
  • Strategize with field deployment to adjust the field sales model based on business needs.

Requirements

  • BA in business administration or related field; MA or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in field sales, product marketing, data management, or medical/clinical experience in the hematology/oncology therapeutic area (SOT-focused preferred) within the life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of the transplant market, disease states, competitive environment, and overall industry experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Customer Management databases.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
  • Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success.
  • Self-directed and organized with excellent execution and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment.
  • Ability to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges with key customers while adhering to the company's ethics and compliance standards.
