About the position

As a Sales Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support Sales Operations in regards to metrics, systems tools, processes, and projects. You will utilize your communication skills, high energy level, and attention-to-detail to support a fast-paced sales infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring that the sales team has the necessary tools and information to succeed, and it involves a deep understanding of sales processes and operational support. You will be expected to manage and ensure regional sales forecast accuracy, understand and analyze complex financial data, and provide sales operations reporting to various department managers. Additionally, you will manage the overall CRM process, including forecasting, reporting, and internal training, while also assisting in areas such as commissions, P&L, and budgeting. Your impact will extend beyond just operational support; you will promote an environment of inclusivity and respect, valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging open dialogue among all team members. Collaboration on strategic initiatives will be key, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and positive change within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure regional Sales forecast accuracy
  • Understand and analyze complex financial data
  • Provide sales operations reporting to various department managers
  • Manage the overall CRM process including forecasting, reporting and internal training
  • Help in all areas of sales operational support such as commissions, P&L, and budgeting
  • Follow ePlus' performance review process to promote communication and provide useful feedback about job performance
  • Promote an environment of inclusivity and respect, valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging open dialogue among all team members
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives, leveraging expertise to drive innovation and positive change within the organization
  • Cultivate a proactive approach to conflict resolution, striving for amicable solutions and escalating concerns as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, some college preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in an operations or sales support role in a related industry
  • Willing to dig into problems and come out with fact-based solutions
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting principles
  • Strong working knowledge of database systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • A good understanding of technology sales processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients and prospects
  • Ability to coordinate work project resources amongst team members
  • Strong computer skills and technical knowledge - i.e. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS CRM, ability to learn internal applications
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to succeed in a competitive, high-performance work environment
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
