About the position

As a Manager in Sales Operations for PayPal's Channel Partner Sales Organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting sales forecasting, planning, and operations processes within the Partner organization. This position requires day-to-day visibility to leaders on pipeline and sales progress, identifying gaps and challenges to the plan. You will proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's overall planning and operations efforts. In this role, you will drive strategic projects into the execution phase, partnering with teams across the organization. You will be responsible for planning and executing the tactical elements of sales to develop best practices and continuously improve effectiveness. This includes refining sales models, processes, methodologies, coverage models, territory design, lead generation management, and departmental communications. You will also drive and manage forums for check-ins with product teams, stakeholders, executive leadership, and strategic merchants. Your ability to assess, scope, and position key transformational efforts will be essential in driving the changes needed to achieve business goals. This position requires a strong background in consulting, revenue/sales operations, strategic finance, or strategy, with a preference for industry expertise in payments and/or technology. Excellent creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills are also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales forecasting, planning, and operations processes within the Partner organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong consulting, revenue/sales operations, operations, strategic finance, or strategy experience preferred.
  • Industry expertise in payments and/or technology preferred.
  • Excellent creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail-oriented work.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
