About the position

The Manager, Sales Specialists will lead a team of Senior Sales Specialists in achieving sales targets within the Corporates Segment, specifically the Global Accounts SubSegment. This role focuses on leveraging sales enablement tools and processes to generate opportunities, facilitate customer conversations, and reinforce the value of Thomson Reuters solutions. The position is part of the strategic Global Account Management team, emphasizing account planning, customer retention, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Sales Specialist team accountable for driving new sales.
  • Support globally aligned and coordinated customer engagement and support.
  • Drive high customer satisfaction and engagement improvements.
  • Identify solutions to complex problems with a broad perspective.
  • Execute on goals and initiatives to drive change, innovation, and accountability.
  • Develop, plan, and set priorities in alignment with leadership and Global Key Account Director team.
  • Deliver target financial and strategy objectives, driving retention and revenue growth.
  • Accurate forecasting and customer evaluations; achieve renewal and sales targets.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align retention and sales objectives.
  • Monitor performance through various measures to ensure efficient service.
  • Collaborate with sales support channels to maximize opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and respond to departmental issues affecting teamwork.

Requirements

  • B.S. in business or related area and/or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA or CPA License preferred.
  • 5+ years management experience.
  • 8+ years in a similar function.
  • 5+ years experience with successful sales in Business to Business marketplace.
  • Deep understanding of customers and market dynamics.
  • Experience with coaching sales processes and product training.
  • In-depth business and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong people leadership skills.
  • B2B business development skills with experience in sales/up-sell and retention.
  • Strong coaching, leadership, and performance management skills.
  • Understanding of law firm operations and profitability.
  • Experience with Solution Selling/Consultative Sales.
  • Proven record of successful sales performance.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a professional client base.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Salesforce, and Xactly.
