About the position

The Global Sales & Commercial Operations team at Visa is seeking a highly skilled Manager for Sales Training & Enablement. This pivotal role is designed to enhance the learning experiences for sales personnel on a global scale. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of impactful training programs that drive sales enablement. This position requires a strong background in content development, effective communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess instructional design expertise, with the ability to distill complex topics into simple, engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of diverse sales audiences. The role emphasizes the importance of delivering measurable results through well-structured training content. Key responsibilities include developing course curriculums that align with business priorities and drive actionable outcomes. The Manager will identify development needs and timelines, create educational content, and oversee learner administration, including cohort design and user management. Additionally, the role involves analyzing learning data to generate insights for content enhancement. This position is hybrid, requiring employees to work from the office 2-3 days a week, depending on business needs, while also allowing for remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Design course curriculums that focus on driving actionable behavioral and knowledge outcomes aligned to business priorities.
  • Identify development needs and establish timelines accordingly.
  • Develop educational sales enablement content and trainings, including instructional design storyboards and unscripted SME interviews.
  • Select video clips and produce content with an emphasis on written content and interactive exercises.
  • Oversee learner administration, including cohort design and user account management.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative learning data into consumable reports and generate insights for content enhancements.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
  • An agile and flexible work approach.
  • Experience in learning & development, instructional design experience is a plus.
  • Video production skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Visa's products or product training.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
