About the position

The Manager, Sales at NASCAR is responsible for developing and securing corporate sponsorships and large-scale hospitality programs across NASCAR Southeast properties. This role requires a results-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, build relationships with clients, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team. The position is based in Daytona, Florida, and involves a high volume of prospecting and cold calling to generate new revenue and renew existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales on priorities and market approach.
  • Prospect for future revenue opportunities and contribute to the Southeast sales team's success.
  • Generate new revenue while renewing and upselling existing accounts.
  • Conduct a high volume of cold calling and prospecting to build client relationships.
  • Establish new marketing/hospitality partnerships to achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Acquire new clients and grow revenue from existing clients.
  • Research and identify industries for sponsorship/hospitality opportunities.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service to corporate clients.
  • Attend networking and community events to develop sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Client Services team to ensure proper execution of partner assets.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and forecast weekly.
  • Assist in annual revenue/expense budget preparation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of proven sales experience (prior sports sales experience preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Sales/Sports Management.
  • Understanding of sponsorship/hospitality sales and event marketing.
  • Ability to communicate the value of sponsorship & hospitality offerings confidently.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and CRM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Strong business relationships in Atlanta, Orlando, and other Southeast markets are a plus.
