About the position

The Social Media Specialist, Advocacy is responsible for managing and enhancing global employee advocacy through personal social media channels. This role focuses on developing training materials, leading educational sessions, and driving advocacy efforts while ensuring compliance with social media policies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the ability to track and optimize advocacy strategies based on performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new training and recruitment materials for the employee advocacy program.
  • Lead trainings throughout the company to educate employees on compliant social media usage.
  • Drive employee advocacy efforts through integration with Everyone Social and internal channels.
  • Track and measure advocacy efforts quarterly, optimizing content strategy based on learnings.
  • Present and create reports for executive leadership on advocacy efforts.
  • Partner with Manager of Affiliate Social to ensure content is shared with affiliate countries weekly.
  • Meet with affiliate country participants monthly to troubleshoot issues and provide guidance.
  • Support affiliates launching the program in their local countries.
  • Onboard and train new Social Champions as needed.
  • Coordinate SWAG orders and mailing for new Social Champions quarterly.
  • Execute incentives for active Social Champions quarterly.
  • Support video development for corporate social channels as needed.
  • Collaborate on the advocacy content calendar, ensuring suggested posts are provided weekly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in social media management.
  • Working knowledge of social media channels for marketing purposes.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Passion for training others in new processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Canva, TikTok, and Cap Cut.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with social media metrics and analysis.
  • Familiarity with employee advocacy efforts.
