About the position

This role is pivotal in developing and executing a comprehensive digital and social media strategy that aligns with Selective's overall strategy. The position focuses on introducing creative approaches to apply unique and innovative digital strategies, unlocking business value for partners, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support their initiatives. The role also involves staying current with digital trends and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Advance the digital and social media infrastructure by overseeing platforms and recommending enhancements.
  • Collaborate with and manage agency partners to execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external business partners to prioritize and schedule digital campaigns.
  • Communicate insights and implications of digital and social media to business leaders effectively.
  • Challenge the status quo to introduce new solutions related to digital strategies and platforms.
  • Partner with various teams to integrate digital and social media into customer experience and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Director to integrate large-scale digital projects with ongoing initiatives.
  • Partner with technology teams to track digital efforts and link them to performance indicators.
  • Manage external vendors and platforms to ensure budget efficiency and quality insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
  • 6+ years working in a digital role on either the vendor or corporate side.
  • Expertise in digital and social media platforms and technology such as LiveRamp and Google Marketing Platform.
  • Expert level experience in designing full funnel multichannel digital and social media campaigns.
  • Experienced in utilizing data for targeted execution of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Proven experience in utilizing Generative AI to expedite work and deliveries.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in applying personalization to digital marketing campaigns.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in digital media, social media, or related area.
  • Insurance industry experience.
