About the position

The Manager of Social Media Marketing at Le Creuset is a pivotal role within the Marketing Communications team, responsible for leading the brand's social media strategy to enhance awareness and engagement. This position combines innovative thinking with data-driven insights to develop campaigns that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences. The manager will oversee social media content, community management, and influencer partnerships while analyzing performance metrics to optimize future campaigns. This role also involves direct management of the Associate Manager, Social Marketing, and collaboration with various internal teams to achieve cross-functional marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand social media marketing strategy across multiple platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter/X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Guide community management strategy to maintain a positive community presence.
  • Manage strategy, budget, and execution for brand paid social campaigns in collaboration with agencies.
  • Oversee social content and editorial calendar to ensure effective messaging and brand identity.
  • Develop social creative concepts and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, and agencies.
  • Create original content from events and brand activations, focusing on high-quality short vertical videos.
  • Analyze and report on social media channel performance, deriving actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for brand relevance.
  • Train and manage the Associate Manager, Social Marketing.
  • Communicate social strategy and performance to stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in social media management for an established brand, preferably in premium retail or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of social media nuances and strategies for various channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in content production for premium lifestyle brands with a keen eye for branding.
  • Proven ability to leverage data for social media success using analytics to inform strategies.
  • Experience with third-party social media scheduling and analytics platforms, preferably Sprout Social.
  • Highly skilled in creating high-quality vertical video content and mobile video editing.
