About the position

The Social Media Manager is responsible for strategically planning, developing, and executing campaigns across various social media platforms. This role involves managing social media coordinators and maintaining an organized content calendar. The manager will collaborate with the content and graphic design teams to launch effective social media campaigns, ensuring all messaging aligns with the brand voice and identity. The position requires strong copywriting skills and a proactive approach to devising social strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and execute social media campaigns across platforms.
  • Manage social media coordinators and maintain a pre-planned content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the Content Team Lead and Graphic Design Team Lead.
  • Oversee communication of messaging and captions in alignment with brand voice.
  • Engage with the target market through text, video, and images on social media.
  • Identify and share appropriate content related to social media events and trends.
  • Craft engaging content that aligns with customer trends and market changes.
  • Utilize digital technologies to meet social media campaign goals.
  • Research social media trends and tools to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Organize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Stay updated with current trends and industry insights to optimize content strategy.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing social media accounts with a proven track record of growth.
  • Experience with META platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok is required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of social media coordinators.
  • Experience with Pinterest and YouTube is preferred.
  • Strong copywriting skills and strategic campaign management expertise.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for content planning and engagement growth.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (including Lightroom), Planoly, and Asana.
