About the position

The Manager, Software Development & Engineering at Comcast is responsible for leading a team of software development engineers in the creation and support of enterprise applications that facilitate Human Resources, payroll, and benefits processes. This role involves developing software solutions, integrating applications, and mentoring junior team members while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise software development engineers responsible for Workday, Kronos, and related applications.
• Develop software and application solutions for key enterprise human resources systems.
• Execute solutions integrations for HR, payroll, and benefits processes.
• Utilize Enterprise Application Integration Tools and Platforms.
• Troubleshoot application integration issues using Workday features.
• Create databases using SQL Developer.
• Build reports and data visualizations using Tableau.
• Implement job scheduling capabilities in Workday, Redwood, Globalscape, UC-4, and XGears.
• Collaborate with business departments to develop functional requirements and technical designs.
• Mentor junior-level team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Five years of experience developing software applications for enterprise systems.
• Three years of experience creating databases using SQL Developer.
• Three years of experience utilizing Tableau to build reports and data visualizations.
• Three years of experience implementing job scheduling using UC-4 and XGears.
