As a Manager of Software Development & Engineering for the Syndication XMP team at Comcast, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of applications within the Syndication Engineering group. This includes managing APIs and other components that integrate Comcast's products and technology with large Multiple System Operators (MSOs) across North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific. You will lead a distributed team of experienced developers and DevOps engineers, which includes both Comcast employees and contractors. Your responsibilities will encompass facilitating inter-team coordination to ensure timely product delivery, participating in product planning and design, and monitoring emerging technologies and practices that could benefit the Syndication business. In this role, you will be expected to manage a well-rounded team of software engineers, focusing on delivering the best experience and functionality for Comcast partners. You will coordinate XMP delivery with other teams within Comcast, participate in technical planning for partner onboarding, and provide engineering support coordination for partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving delivery impediments, ensuring comprehensive solution documentation, and tracking the overall delivery status of projects.
