Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in developing scalable web software solutions.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure high-quality software development practices are followed, including DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 or more years of full-stack software development experience, with an emphasis on backend development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs with Java (17 or later) and Java Spring Boot / Spring Batch.
• Experience working with databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with development tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Understanding of Agile software development principles and experience in a Scrum-based delivery team.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated knowledge in troubleshooting issues using Splunk, including logging and creating alerts.
• Experience with capacity utilization report automation to improve efficiencies.
