About the position

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Ad Data Infrastructure team. This role focuses on managing and mentoring engineers to enhance the monetization data processing infrastructure. The manager will set strategic goals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Set the strategy, build a roadmap, and create measurable goals for the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, acting as the interface between Monetization engineering and infrastructure partners.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs of major decisions and provide strong technical mentorship.
• Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience working in software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative environments.
• Experience with Ops-heavy systems/products.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, or Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Proficiency in using Google BigQuery.
