About the position

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead and expand a new tech hub in Mexico, building and managing a team of 18. This role focuses on people skills, learning, development, culture, and team management over technical expertise. The ideal candidate has a proven history of hiring and leading teams of 5+ resources and is bi-lingual in English and Spanish. The team will work primarily with Angular and .Net (80%), along with React and Java service layers. Experience in .Net, Java, AWS Cloud, and managing Fullstack Engineers, Java Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists is essential. The Manager will also collaborate with other team managers, assist with technical aspects like architecture and testing, and support training initiatives. The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Team Lead or Manager in Software Engineering, working in an Agile environment.
• Proven experience managing a team of 5+ resources, with a focus on their development and growth.
• Proficiency with the following tech stack: Angular and .Net, with some exposure to React and Java service layers.
• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
