Responsibilities

• Lead the current product engineering team, including front-end, mobile, and backend developers.
• Design, guide, and vet systems design related to product development.
• Scale the current team by hiring and onboarding new members to develop a high-performing team of software engineers.
• Maintain high technical standards through processes like architecture reviews and testing.
• Provide tools, context, confidence, and motivation to the team for effective decision-making.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering management experience with a proven ability to build high-performing teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical degree.
• Experience in driving architecture and product decisions with consistent execution.
• Proficient in full-stack design principles and able to lead code architecture and implementation decisions.
• Comfortable coaching team members with varying skill sets and technical expertise.
• Experience in agile software development and management.
