Responsibilities

  • Build the best cloud software for businesses using a market leading development cloud platform
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions to ensure they meet stakeholder and company objectives
  • Collaborate with product management, design, support and other development teams to create high-quality solutions
  • Solve complex and ambiguous problems
  • Motivate and guide the team to bring their best self to work every day and strive to wow our customers
  • Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with application development, system architecture and production support for highly complex enterprise level products
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing multi-cultural and diverse engineering teams across multiple locations
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Shell, JavaScript)
  • Experience with Front-end/UI frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and the capability to listen and influence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand the business case for each deliverable undertaken and works with product owners to help ensure benefits are realized
  • Experience with open-source tools and agile development environments
  • Ability to understand and implement best practices and coding standards required including programming languages, tools, design and development methodologies and processes
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to facilitate discussions across a range of internal teams and manage dependencies
