About The Position
DexCare is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering who will play a pivotal role in expanding the efforts around the DexCare platform. This position is designed for an experienced manager who is not only excited about leading a team but also passionate about mentoring and providing career and technical direction for the engineering team. The Manager will work closely with the Director of Software Engineering and collaborate with leaders across DexCare, as well as with clients, to define the roadmap and set the technical direction for the organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the entire architecture of the product line, which includes mobile development, web application development, machine learning, data analytics, and infrastructure. You will be expected to foster a collaborative environment where team members can share their thoughts, provide constructive feedback, and commit to team decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally, will be crucial as you represent DexCare and engage with clients. As a mentor, you will guide your team in architecting and developing the best technical designs and approaches. You will also be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing software engineering team members, ensuring that the team is forward-thinking and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. The role requires a strong foundation in computer science, systems design, and object-oriented programming, along with a passion for improving processes and software design.
