About the position

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions that align with Lumen's vision.
• Lead a team in developing and shipping software features.
• Ensure adherence to REST API development and security standards such as OAuth2.0 and OIDC.
• Utilize SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase).
• Demonstrate experience with container ecosystems like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for application development.
• Apply system design principles and performance engineering techniques.
• Explore GenAI Development using langchain and vector datastores.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java or Python development, with proficiency in relevant frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience as a people manager, with a focus on growing and mentoring talent.
• Experience managing a team across multiple technology stacks and providing guidance as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with cloud computing environments.
