We're looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join Procore's Product & Technology Team. As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of talented engineers and drive the transformation of our people, processes, and technology as we scale to meet the needs of a global market. You'll partner with product managers, project managers, and engineering leaders to effectively lead the team to drive impact. Responsibilities

  • Focus on the development of our Project Management, Quality and Safety (PMQS) core offerings from Procore.
  • Drive innovation and change to accommodate enterprise and international customers for Procore across the organization.
  • Work cross-functionally with product and UX to build roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Own the overall success of business domains managing the improvement of functionality, APIs, SDK's, and performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set short-term and long-term goals and strategies.
  • Contribute to architecture design.
  • Mentor and coach your teams and the broader organization.
  • Drive excellence and product quality in key areas of the Procore in our PMQS division.
  • Identify opportunities and manage teams to successfully deliver our initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years total experience as a Software Engineer
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing teams of varying sizes and timezones
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in leading highly effective engineering teams
  • Ability to coach, provide mentorship and guidance that aids team growth and development
  • Track record of shipping value to customers with high-quality
  • Ability to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approaches
  • Passionate about technology, tooling, industry trends, and best practices
  • Open to adjusting working hours as needed, to accommodate for time zone differences.
