Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company's premier vacation brands including Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney! This role sits in the Resort Technology organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. It works closely with Resorts Line of Business, Finance, and other Technology teams from across the company. The Manager, Technology will report to the Sr. Manager, Technology. The Resort Technology team designs, develops, supports, and optimizes Guest and Cast experiences across Resort locations at Walt Disney World, Aulani, and the Beach Resorts. Through the collaboration among Technology, Digital, and our business partners, we strategically drive innovation, development, delivery, and operational excellence of the products and services in our portfolio. In this role, you will oversee finances and budgets in MyPPM, ensure accurate billing processes, and contribute to forecasting and accrual processes to maintain financial integrity and support organizational objectives. You will manage an engineering team responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and enhancing software solutions used in various computing environments. Additionally, you will supervise delivery optimization of large-scale or sophisticated software programs and systems, collaborating multi-functionally to align with business goals and timelines. You will also coordinate, evaluate, and lead external vendor relationships, acting as the key point of contact, and ensuring contractual obligations are met. Proactively finding opportunities for technology optimization and efficiency improvements will be key, as well as crafting and building a roadmap for delivering a world-class support model and ensuring ongoing health and performance of technology solutions. You will review, augment, and build critical metrics for responsible systems, using visualization tools, and engage in estimation and planning across the organization, voicing recommendations, feedback, and solutions from a technical perspective to deliver on-time & in-scope. Lastly, you will proactively track and assess emerging technologies across the industry to inform strategic decision-making and recommendations.
