Our Team is looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented Software Engineers working on our Insurance Claims Eligibility domain. As a SWE Manager, you will mentor team members in code reviews and regular 1:1's. You will efficiently break down work, build an amazing team, and deliver great products. You will also leverage your technical expertise as you write SOLID code in each sprint. This role will typically have between 5 and 10 direct reports including Software Engineers and Software Engineers in Test (remote and nearshore). SWE Managers also work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and other technical and business stakeholders. In this position, you will hire, retain, and build top talent while leading your team of engineers to foster a culture of excellence. You will actively participate in and manage all phases of development from ideation, implementation, to post-deployment issue resolution for your team. Developing strong partnerships with other engineering leaders, DevOps, product, architecture, and other key areas of the business will be crucial. You will own the problem and scope solutions that align with business objectives, supporting and championing the continued evolution of our Agile culture and Scrum best practices. Additionally, you will contribute code to build, maintain, and support systems as needed.
