About The Position

The Manager of Software Engineering at Nike, Inc. is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves understanding various resourcing models, improving operational processes, developing resource plans, and tracking budgeting changes. The manager will also develop technical roadmaps, enhance team competencies, and conduct performance management for team members, all while communicating Nike's strategies and objectives effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
• Five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering or related occupation.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, Python, and Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture, SQL, and REST/RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Software Design Patterns, Postgres, Kafka, and Grafana.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and AngularJS.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
