As a first-line manager, you will oversee a team of software test engineers, guiding them in their work and ensuring that the software meets the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including software development, product management, and quality assurance, throughout the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for defining team-specific strategies, setting priorities, and directing the capabilities of your team. You will delegate work assignments, monitor the quality and quantity of work in progress, and provide mentorship and training to team members.
