About the position

As a Senior Manager in Network Security Software Engineering and Operations, you will lead the modernization strategy of our Data Center in Hybrid Cloud architecture. This role involves overseeing network design, automation, and operations of high-quality security solutions, including next-gen distributed Firewalls and software Load balancers. You will be responsible for executing a technical roadmap that enhances policy enforcement and ensures high availability, while also mentoring and guiding a team of engineers to innovate and solve critical operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior leadership to address project dependencies and deliver projects on time.
• Manage a team of security and open-source network stack engineers.
• Build robust security solutions for managing network devices across various services.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of team strategy and platforms.
• Identify project risks and present implementable solutions or alternatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance network solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and support related to security and SDN.
• Drive continuous improvement by staying updated with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of security technologies and network system design.
• Familiarity with Software-Defined network architectures and solutions.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and their interaction with storage infrastructures.
• Demonstrated conflict management and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Strong understanding of Software-defined network infrastructure for Hybrid Cloud.
• Experience with SDN Controllers such as ONOS SD-Fabric.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and programming languages like C/C#, Java, Python, GoLang.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years of network operations and automation experience.
• 8+ years of experience with systems architecture and design.
• 4+ years of experience in open-source network solutions.
• 4+ years of experience with hyper scale cloud provider solutions.
• 5+ years of development in a large-scale, mission-critical environment.
• 2+ years' experience with automated testing.
