About the position

The Manager, Store Zone Sales & Operations at Lennox International is responsible for overseeing the sales and operational performance of multiple stores within a designated geographic region. This role focuses on recruiting, training, and developing store teams to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance. The manager will also be accountable for the profitability of the store network, market growth opportunities, and maintaining operational excellence across all stores.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop store teams including Store Managers, Customer Service Associates, and Warehouse personnel.
• Perform sales and operational coaching, and manage the performance of store personnel.
• Drive sales of replacement components and aftermarket products through the store network to dealers and contractors.
• Ensure store network profitability based on sales, margins, and operational expenses.
• Identify market growth opportunities and execute the setup and opening of new stores.
• Oversee store operations to deliver excellent customer service.
• Implement and maintain store safety practices within the zone.
• Coach stores on inventory practices to ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counting.
• Communicate initiatives, priorities, and company strategy effectively to store teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales team (District Managers) and Supply Chain/Distribution teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• MBA degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of related experience in store management or operations.
• Excellent leadership abilities and skills.
• Expertise in financial and operational aspects of store management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Expert computer skills, particularly in Microsoft applications.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems is required.
• Advanced customer service and sales skills in retail.
