About the position

The Manager, Strategic Account Development at DoorDash is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives focused on driving sales performance to achieve SMB platform volume goals. This role involves hiring, developing, and managing talent while fostering an inclusive and motivating work environment. The position is remote but requires the candidate to be based in the US, reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Account Development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of front line sales representatives to drive sales performance.
  • Source, interview, and hire top sales talent for the team.
  • Conduct 1:1 coaching, deal strategy, and pipeline reviews to enhance team performance.
  • Build better processes and programs based on learnings from customer interactions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in building and executing pipeline strategies.
  • Strong coaching skills for front line sales representatives.
  • Customer obsession with a focus on enhancing customer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the restaurant or food delivery industry.
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics and reporting.
