About the position

The Manager, Strategic Finance at Aspen Dental will play a crucial role in driving financial results and providing strategic insights to senior leadership. This position is part of the TAG FP&A Team and focuses on uncovering opportunities for business growth and making recommendations that lead to tangible results. The role involves managing key operational levers, reporting financial outcomes, and supporting various financial initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for driving financial results and delivering performance against budget.
• Disciplined management of key operational levers and oversight of company initiatives and pilots.
• Proactively identify areas of opportunity and influence leadership accordingly.
• Reporting monthly financial and operational results with clear insights relating operational actions to financial outcomes.
• Directly partner with senior leadership by analyzing, forecasting, and presenting key financial and operational data.
• Build business cases that justify investments and measure performance against targets to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the FP&A leadership team with ad hoc modeling, forecasting, and ROI/NPV calculations for major initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance in financial and management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in the FP&A or Strategy function at a mid-to-large sized organization or in a consulting environment.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, particularly in financial modeling and presentation building.
• Ability to relate operational KPIs to business objectives and financial results.
• Strong data validation and review skills for accuracy and completion.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Retail or healthcare experience.
• Master's in Business Administration or other advanced degree.
