About the position

The Manager, Strategic Marketing Planning role at Deloitte involves leading marketing efforts at the local level to drive growth and development within the organization. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration with various stakeholders to create impactful marketing campaigns that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will oversee the execution of integrated marketing plans, engage with local business leaders, and analyze market trends to optimize marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Bring marketing strategies to life by creating campaign visions and integrated marketing plans.
  • Engage and collaborate with the in-house creative team, leveraging agile principles in the successful creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the development of channel activation plans, including a client targeting strategy and customer journey mapping.
  • Directly engage with local business leaders and stakeholders on campaign planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with marketers aligned to offerings and industries to integrate content and marketing strategies.
  • Build external marketplace relationships with local/regional industry associations and publications.
  • Lead local market analysis and make recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Review content and creative assets to ensure quality control for all projects.
  • Monitor ongoing campaign performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Lead post-campaign analysis and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing with a focus on Marketing strategy and planning.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline.
  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in Workfront are preferred.
