About the position

In this role, you will support the Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Operations. You will manage and support key Commercial Strategic initiatives, handling multiple workstreams simultaneously. You will be comfortable communicating effectively across the entire Commercial organization to field information, provide insights, and develop outcomes. You will generate leads to support the business development team in expanding revenue across the commercial services for pharmaceutical companies, support the VP of Commercial Strategy and Operations in managing and executing strategic business development initiatives, and work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with commercial strategic goals. Additionally, you will communicate effectively across the organization, ensuring clear and consistent information flow, develop and deliver high-quality presentations and reports using Excel and PowerPoint, collect and analyze data to support strategic decision-making, coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives, monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks, assist in the development and implementation of commercialization strategies, foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, and ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads to support the business development team in expanding revenue across the commercial services for pharmaceutical companies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of life science consulting experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and commercialization process
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
  • Desire to be part of a business development team which sells solutions/services to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in project management and working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage up and down within the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
